Install the demo on Steam
- Open Dawn of Defense Demo on Steam.
- In the Free Demo section, choose Install Demo.
- Follow the prompts in the Steam client. Open the demo from your Library once Steam finishes the download.

Waves and the first fortress
The Forgotten Powers Demo caps each run at 20 waves and asks you to deal with the first Imperial fortress. The full game is planned to let you take on all three fortresses.
What saves when you quit
Keep the demo open if you want to continue your current run. Once you close it, you can’t pick up that run where you left off. Your progress between runs and your unlocks are saved for future demo runs.
